It (likely) all started with a library card
As a child, I spent hours in my own world, wandering through books that took me to universes like and unlike my own. As a daughter of immigrants, I often felt caught between two worlds, which shaped my curiosity about identity, communication, and the stories we tell about ourselves.
With a Communications degree in hand, I began my career as a tech copywriter before finding my way to higher education, where I spent nearly five years supporting thousands of students as they advocated for their goals and shaped their paths forward. I later earned my MEd in Higher Education Administration to deepen my understanding of the people and organizations I was supporting.
When unexpected circumstances led me to leave the traditional workplace right before the global pandemic (woof, I know), I built an online leadership platform from the ground up, developing its content strategy and connecting with inspiring people across the globe. Later, I transitioned into customer success, gaining another perspective on how organizations communicate with and support the people they serve.
But the urge to write never goes away – it’s like an itch that needs to be scratched (iykyk). I eventually found my way back to writing, supporting purpose-driven organizations with content and communications that make information more approachable, engaging, and memorable. Exploring UX writing along the way sharpened my understanding of how language, context, and structure shape the way people move through an experience.
Taken together, these experiences have taught me to look at communication from more than one angle – as a writer, strategist, educator, storyteller, and advocate for the people on the other side of the message.
All of it has allowed me to do what I do best: lead with curiosity, blend storytelling into strategy, and make complex ideas feel more approachable, accessible, and human.

Sipping on matcha lattes, watching a k-drama, baking something not-too-sweet, indoor cycling to 2010s remixes, picnicking by the Boston waterfront, reading multiple books at once, daydreaming about traveling somewhere warm, and exploring the outdoors (or getting comfortable on the couch) with my irresistibly cute pup, Basil.
